Our Commitment
City Prime Care believes that getting primary care should not depend on how you see, hear, move or process information. We want every patient, caregiver and visitor to be able to find our clinics, read about our services, request an appointment and contact us without barriers.
That commitment covers both our website and our two clinics. Online, we review pages for accessibility as we build and update them, and we treat reported problems as issues to fix. In person, our front desk teams can arrange practical help, from extra time during a visit to assistance filling out paperwork.
Accessibility is ongoing work rather than a finished project. If something on this site or at our clinics makes it hard for you to get care, we want to hear about it.
Standards We Follow (WCAG 2.1 AA)
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard published by the World Wide Web Consortium and widely used for public-facing websites. The guidelines cover how content is perceived, operated and understood by people using a range of devices and assistive technologies.
Our work toward this standard includes:
- Text alternatives for meaningful images
- Headings and page structure that screen readers can navigate
- Keyboard access to menus, links, buttons and forms
- Color contrast that keeps text readable
- Form fields with clear labels and error messages
- Pages that resize and reflow on phones and when zoomed
Some content, such as third-party maps or embedded tools, may not fully meet the standard. Where part of the site falls short, we will help you get the same information another way, including by phone.
Physical Accessibility at Our Clinics
We want every visit to our clinics to be comfortable and safe, whatever your mobility or sensory needs. Entrances and building layouts differ between our two locations, so the most reliable way to plan your visit is to talk with us before you arrive.
When you book, please tell the front desk if you need step-free access, a wheelchair-accessible exam room, help getting onto an exam table, a seat while you wait, or extra time for your appointment. You are welcome to bring a companion, caregiver or service animal. Staff will make arrangements ahead of time and can confirm entrance details by phone so there are no surprises on the day.
Elmhurst, Queens
Our clinic for primary care in Elmhurst is at 41-02 75th St, Elmhurst, NY 11373, near the 74 St–Broadway and Jackson Heights–Roosevelt Av subway stations. Station accessibility varies, so check current MTA elevator status before you travel. Call (718) 555-0175 before your visit to confirm which entrance to use and whether the route inside is step-free, and let us know about any mobility equipment you use. The care team speaks English and Spanish and will help you get settled if you mention your needs when booking.
Chinatown, Manhattan
Our clinic for primary care in Chinatown is at 75 Catherine St, New York, NY 10038, a short walk from the East Broadway (F) station and Chatham Square. Before your appointment, call (212) 555-0180 to confirm entrance details, including whether there are steps and how to reach the exam rooms with a wheelchair, walker or stroller. The care team speaks English, Chinese and Spanish, so you can explain what you need in the language you are most comfortable with. Tell us when you book, and staff will arrange help before you arrive.
Feedback & Assistance
If you run into an accessibility barrier on this website or at one of our clinics, please tell us. Let us know the page or location, what you were trying to do, and the device, browser or assistive technology you were using, if relevant. You can send a message through our contact page, call Elmhurst at (718) 555-0175 or call Chinatown at (212) 555-0180, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM.
We aim to respond within a few business days. While we work on a fix, we will help you get the information or service another way, for example by reading content over the phone, sending documents in a format that works for you, or booking your visit by phone instead of through our online appointment page.
Details about free interpreters, sign language services and other auxiliary aids are in our Non-Discrimination Notice.
